Submissions are closed as of January 2021 due to website issues and leaks from the ominous void flooding the library. We WILL be back ASAP.
Do you know about the Void? Have you hurled something of yours out there? Would you like us to seek it out and add it to our library’s growing collection? If so please, let us know.
At this time our team of librarians, researchers, and various cronies can only safely manage the following:
- short fiction up to 1500 words
- poetry (up to 2 pieces)
- visual art of any medium (up to 2 pieces)
- creative non-fiction up to 2,000 words
We are looking for strange, otherworldly, and beautiful words and art. We enjoy the surreal, experimental, fabulous, dark, and bizarre things that we pull from the Void.
Currently, on our display table are books and art by Victor LaValle, Janna Watson, Italo Calvino, Susannah Montague, Kelly Link, Ray Bradbury, Damien Angelica Walters, Tonya Corkey, Das Indra, China Mieville, Alexander Weinstein, Ana Teresa Barbosa, and more.
Please note that we do not tolerate or allow words or art that express prejudice, racism, xenophobia, classism, sexism, ableism, serophobia, fat-shaming, intolerance of religion, homophobia, or are abusive or harassing in nature. We take this very seriously and submissions that include any of the above will be immediately rejected. If someone continues to send work or art with any of the above future submissions will be no longer read from them. We reserve the right to remove published work and/or not read work by those who are abusers.
